Chelsea are going to face Leicester City and here’s the team news. The Blues had some major injuries in their previous fixture and as a result of which they dropped some crucial points. Burnley were able to hold Chelsea and secure a 1-1 draw. Despite dropping points, Chelsea are three points above Manchester City and on top of the Premier League table. While the international break has bought Chelsea players some time to recover.

Players will be back from the international break and some clubs have suffered major blows. Luckily enough, Chelsea does not have major injury losses by the international break. Chelsea team new: Injuries and suspensions

Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku suffered an ankle injury in the Champions League match against Malmo. He was believed to be out for four weeks after that. The Belgian international has missed several matches for the club because of this injury this season. He has also scored just 4 in 11 appearances at Chelsea. However, he will be looking to get back in form as he was seen training with the Blues. While he is expected to be on the team sheet against Leicester on 20th November.

Timo Werner

Werner was also forced off with an injury against Malmo as he suffered a hamstring thigh injury. While Werner also looks forward to getting back to his RB Leipzig form at Chelsea. However, he was not been pictured training with Lukaku for the upcoming fixture. This makes him a major doubt for the game against Leicester City on 20th November.

Mateo Kovacic

The Croatian international has played an important role in Chelsea’s midfield. Unfortunately, he suffered a hamstring injury in their training session. Moreover, he won’t be able to recover in time to be included in the squad against Leicester.

Mason Mount

Mount has managed to be in the Chelsea team news. Unlike others, Mason Mount is facing a dental issue. He had his wisdom teeth taken out and was also unable to participate in England’s World Cup qualifiers. Although he is not in major doubt for this fixture.

Marcos Alonso

Like Lukaku and Werner, Alonso also faced an ankle injury against Malmo. Fortunately enough, the Spanish international has returned to training with the Blues and is available to play against Leicester City.
