Chelsea teenager Tyler Dibling has decided to return to Southampton after a short spell. The young striker struggled to settle in West London.

Hence, both the clubs worked hard to find a solution for the teenager to return to his old club. It looks like the clubs have finally found a solution for Dibling.

According to reports, Tyler Dibling has decided to leave Chelsea and join Southampton. The youngster left the Saints for Chelsea just a month ago. However, the report adds that Dibling struggled to settle in West London. Hence, the move is a bit of a surprise. The forward also penned a farewell letter to Saints after leaving them after 10 years,

He wrote,

” Just want to say a massive thank you to all the staff and players at Southampton for these last 10 years at the club.“I’m forever grateful for the opportunities that have been handed to me and wish the club all the best. I’m excited to join Chelsea and can’t wait to get started!”.

Hence, the representative of both the clubs had to work hard to facilitate his return to the Saints early.

One thing is sure the Saints have the best conditions and facilities to develop young players. The first team also started a new strategy in the summer transfer window. They are now signing players under the age of 25. These players have a very high ceiling of development on their side. The move benefits both sides. The player might get a big move to Europe if he does well for Southampton.

Whereas, it also benefits the Saints. There is a chance, they will end up selling the brilliant player for a higher profit to the big clubs. If the player fails to fulfill his potential for European football, the player might very well end up till the end of his career to show his loyalty. James Ward-Prowse is the latest example of a loyal player that might stay with Southampton till the end of his career.

Dibling made his debut for Southampton under-23s towards the beginning of the year. The forward scored a hattrick against Newcastle United in just his second appearance. Hence, this made Chelsea pounce on the forward.
