Chelsea to beat Newcastle again for summer transfer: Micahel Olise to Stamford Bridge

Newcastle United Stadium

Chelsea are hell-bent on improving the squad. Although it is doubtful why this is actually necessary, the squad already speaks volumes. A new manager has new philosophies and ways of conducting business. Enzo Maresca is keen on replacing and improving, especially the back line and forwards. He, however, thankfully has faith in the midfield. Chelsea, after signing Tosin Adarabioyo in a race against Newcastle United, have again joined the bandwagon by signing Michael Olise. The London born former French U21 international is in high demand. Crystal Palace are proud of having a winger of such calibre, and letting him go will not come cheap. Newcastle haven’t had a proper winger since St. Maxim and Gordon left. While Chelsea are impudent on heavy, unrequired recruitments, they are bidding on every player off the list. With such recruits confirmed, Chelsea will have a stacked lineup of forwards.

Chelsea against Newcastle: Adarabioyo and Olise recruitment

According to reports, Olise has agreed to his personal terms with Chelsea. The 22-year-old has scored 10 goals in 19 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace in 2023–24. Not only Newcastle and Chelsea, but other English clubs have also inquired about the youngster. Liverpool has been in talks about the winger for a long time and sees him as a potential replacement for Mo Salah. Just like many young players end up choosing Stamford Bridge against Anfield, something similar happened here too. Not only Liverpool, but according to transfer expert Ben Jacobs, a bid of 60 million pounds by Newcastle has been rejected by the player. Olise had the intent to join Chelsea last summer, but the deal failed to materialise.

As the verbal agreements have taken place, Chelsea wants to lure the starlet as soon as possible. GIVEMESPORT claims that Chelsea are in conversation with Crystal Palace and that a deal worth more than 60 million pounds is in place. Olise is an academy graduate at Stamford Bridge, and thus a move there is likely to happen. As far as Newcastle is concerned, they are already looking for potential interests within the Prem. Jarrod Bowen is a good candidate that fits the Magpies. A wise transfer fee will help him land at St. James Park.
