According to reports, Galatasaray is reportedly planning to make a new attempt to sign Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana. Turkish outlet Fanatik suggests that representatives from Galatasaray will travel to London in order to negotiate the signing. The report mentions that Galatasaray had previously made an unsuccessful move for Fofana during the January transfer window. However, recent contact between the clubs has yielded positive outcomes. Leading to this renewed effort by Galatasaray.


According to the report, David Datro Fofana is keen on leaving Chelsea. And Galatasaray is to be close to reaching a favorable outcome. A representative from Galatasaray is to travel to England this week with the intention of arranging a loan deal for Fofana. The striker joined Chelsea from Molde in January but has had limited playing time, making only 14 appearances. Therefore, a loan move appears to be a reasonable option. Additionally, Galatasaray has expressed interest in Hakim Ziyech. Although the pursuit is currently on hold due to indications that Ziyech may be moving to Saudi Arabia.

Prior to that, he played for Abidjan City FC in his home country, Ivory Coast. Notably, Fofana has also represented his country at the international level, making an appearance for the Ivory Coast national team.
