Chelsea vs Sheffield United – Will Nkunku make his debut?

Chelsea will be locking horns with Sheffield United in their next Premier League game. The fans at Stamford Bridge will be hoping to see their summer signing star Christopher Nkunku back in action against The Blades. Owing to their poor season, their is a huge pressure mounting on Mauricio Pochettino. A ray of hope in the form of Nkunku will be a huge sigh of relief for Chelsea boss. Moreover, a lot of injuries have also been a huge contribution to the Blues’ pathetic run of performances.

Chelsea vs Sheffield United predicted XI

The predicted XI for Chelsea to face Sheffield United is as follows-

Djordje Petrovic will start his first Premier League game since his move in summer. It will be due to an injury sustained by Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.

Malo Gusto will be starting at the right back spot after his injury spell and another injury crisis for skipper Reece James.

Veteran defender Thiago Silva is expected to be back in the starting squad after being on the bench during their last fixture.

The defence duo will be completed by Benoit Badiashile. It means Disasi will have to witness the start of the game from bench.

For the left-back role, Levi Colwill is a sure starter. Their regular LB Marc Cucurella is also having an injury concern.

The duo of Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo will look to settle their boots in the midfield after a poor display throughout this campaign. They will be partnered by Englishman Conor Gallagher at the front.

Raheem Sterling is expected to be back this week on the wings. On the other hand, Cole Palmer will be Chelsea’s main man on the flank as always. Up front, the fans will surely be hoping Christopher Nkunku to make his debut appearance in the League after return.
