Chelsea will sell Christian Pulisic and will ask ‘£49m’ for him

Chelsea will sell Christian Pulisic in the summer and ask for a fee of around ‘£49m’ for the USMNT international.

The new owners will like to balance out the squad as they brought in lots of new players in the last two transfer windows. They also need to reduce a hugely bloated team.

Christian Pulisic is undoubtedly on the list of those who could leave the club at the end of the season. Pulisic joined Chelsea in 2019 from Borrusia Dortmund. But the USMNT international struggled to make a name for himself at Stanford Bridge. He has scored 20 goals and 9 assists in 91 appearances for the Blues.

Juventus, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Newcastle, and Atlético Madrid have all been potential suitors for Pulisic. The biggest lead right now for Pulisic is Atlético Madrid.

According to the British newspaper the ‘Daily Mail’, Real Madrid are now one of the possibilities for Pulisic. However, the Los Blancos are looking to increase their depth in a wide position and the 24-year-old will not be a regular starter in their squad.

Former USMNT coach Eric Wynalda have some info about Pulisic’s situation. He said:-

“One thing we do know, Chelsea has muddied the waters so severely that there are no roads back to London for Christian Pulisic. The number is rumoured to get as high as £49m. The other teams which could be his next home are all fighting for a Champions League spot which will be the determining factor.”

Chelsea like to trim their squad in the summer and Pulisic will have to find his future elsewhere. Injuries have plagued his career but he is still in the early stages of his career.
