According to Journalist Nizaar Kinsella, Ben Chilwell waited for his Chelsea teammate Mykhailo Mudryk at full time to walk off the pitch with him.

Kinsella tweeted that the English full-back left the field with the Ukrainian forward after England’s 2:0 win over Ukraine. Mudryk seems to be still struggling with his form and still lacking minutes since making the move to Stanford Bridge. The pressure is now mounting up, as he failed to impress or have any real impact in the game before being substituted off in 60th minute.

However, Chilwell enjoyed a better game in his first appearance for his country in over a year. The 26-year-old left back completed whole 90 minutes for Southgate’s side. After being sidelined due to injury, Chilwell is now showing great form and can regularly feature in games.

In the match against Ukraine, Chilwell’s defensive qualities were notably strong and agressive. This it ended up in a strong victory for The Three lions.

While he enjoyed his evening, while his club teammate, Mudryk seems struggling with his form. This is the reason why Kinsella claimed that Chilwell waited after the match to speak with the Ukrainian as they left the pitch. He said :-

“Chilwell waited for Mudryk and then left the pitch with him after he went to the away fans.”

Mudryk is struggling since making his big move in January and his confidence will likely to be low at this moment. He likely to be on the bench against Aston Villa at the weekend.
