Chelsea is set to appoint Christopher Vivell as their new Technical director. The revolution in Chelsea camp is set to continue after Todd Boehly became the new owner.

Todd Boehly became the new owner of Chelsea during the summer after which he didn’t take long enough to change things inside Chelsea. He signed many world-class signings and fired Thomas Tuchel. Graham Potter was appointed as Tuchel’s replacement.

Football expert Fabrizio Romano took the use of Twitter to update the news of Todd appointing a new Chelsea director. He wrote:

“Chelsea revolution continues as talks to appoint Christopher Vivell as new technical director are progressing to final stages — he’s expected to join soon.

“Laurence Stewart announced today, Joe Shields deal 100% sealed.”

Boehly totally wants to change Chelsea’s infrastructure, he could have just signed any sporting director. Instead, he chose Christopher Vivell who’s already a big name. Michael Edwards was also an option but he won’t come to football anytime soon.

He’s already signed Laurence Stewart and Joe Shields is expected to be announced soon. Vivell parted ways with RB Leipzig earlier month and now will be recruited at Stamford. He will be responsible for scouting data.
