Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Crystal Palace star winger Micheal Olise in the summer.

The Gunners are having a brilliant season this term as Arteta’s side are currently sitting at top of the Premier League Table. If things go as per their plans in the next eight games, they’ll lift the Premier Title. However, Manchester City are breathing under their neck, as they are just six points behind them.

Edu Gasper has already shortlisted some names for the summer transfer window and Olise is reportedly on his wishlist.

Arsenal’s frontline has been in lethal form this season. Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odeegard have all scored more than 10 goals this season. Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossard have also been in brilliant form.

Arteta’s side has plenty of depth at the attack, but he needs proper back up for Saka for next season. Managers wants another player in the right-flank and Football transfer suggests Eagles winger Olise has come under their radar.

Olise has been termed as a “special talent” by his former manager Patrick Vieira. The 21-year old is viewed as a ideal backup for Saka.

Crystal Palace have reportedly put a price tag of £40 million for Olise this summer. But the free could drop down to £35 million if Eagles get relegated this season.

Olise would be an excellent backup of Saka at the right-flank next season. He has shown his quality for Palace this season and he will be more than ready to play against big sides.

But it will be interesting to see what happens in the summer.
