Datro Fofana is all set to sign for Chelsea this January transfer window

Chelsea is close to unveiling the signing of Datro Fofana soon, claims Fabrizio Romano. Datro Fofana is reportedly going to be their first buy of the January transfer window. He is to replace Armando Borja who is out because of an injury. Fofana completed his medical tests after arriving in London on Thursday. Fabrizio Romano have confirmed that he had gone through the medicals without any glitch. Therefore is now Datro Fofana is one step closer to becoming a new Chelsea player. The Blues already have a deal in place for the young player. Furthermore, they have also agreed on personal terms to sign the youngster. If everything goes according to the plan, then an announcement will soon be made for the player.

Datro Fofana is ready to come to Chelsea this January transfer window

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that the player have completed all the medical tests in West London last Thursday. Chelsea have agreed to a long-term contract with Datro Fofana. Romano claims,

“David Datro Fofana has completed all medical tests on Thursday in London, then Chelsea will unveil the Ivorian striker as new signing soon, deal in place with Molde for €12m fee – it’s all confirmed.”

He further adds,

“Personal terms are fully agreed on a long term contract.”

Instead of playing for the U21s, Fofana is expected to join the first team immediately. Graham Potter will be looking to play a natural striker to add more depth to the second half of the Premier League season. With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the manager’s only forward option, Datro Fofana could make his Premier League debut soon.

Apparently, Chelsea are not waiting for the transfer window. They are instead getting the deals done way before that. They have already a deal with RB Leipzig for the signing of Christopher Nkunku. The Belgian international will join the Blues in the summer. Chelsea are looking to sign a lot of young players this window. As they look to build a future for the club in the long run.
