West Ham star Declan Rice is already asking Bukayo Saka all about lifestyle and culture at Arsenal, as per Chris Wheatley.
Speaking on The National World YouTube channel, the journalist spoke about Arsenal’s transfer pursuit of Declan Rice in the summer. He also shared some interesting insight about transfer saga.
Arsenal really wants to sign Rice but the midfielder is also investigating out what it would mean to play for Arsenal under Mikel Arteta. The West Ham star had some conversation with Bukayo Saka about life at the Emirates.
Wheatley shared some insight about Rice and said:-
“They absolutely are. I think that Declan Rice is keen on joining Arsenal and he’s already spoken with his England teammate Bukayo Saka about the move, he’s asking questions about the club, I feel this is a move that Arsenal want to get done this summer, but they don’t want to pay over the odds for Rice.
Arsenal couldn’t have asked for better agent than Saka to sign Rice in the summer. The English midfielder has been childhood supporter of Gunners and will be eager to play for the red and whites.
However, Wheatley also said that his price tag will be a area of concern for Arsenal in the summer. Rice is priced at £120m by the Hammers.
Rice is all eager to make this transfer happen but it will be interesting to see how Arsenal handle this deal in the summer. Gunners look to revamp their midfield and go for title once again next season. But West Ham United will also consider bids from big European clubs.
