Dhruv Shorey to represent Vidarbha, part ways with Delhi: Domestic cricket

Dhruv Shorey, to represent Vidarbha, part ways with Delhi for the 2023-2024 domestic edition. Playing For Delhi, Dhruv Shorey has scored a total of 3841 runs in 42 games with an average of 54.28. Moreover, he also has eleven centuries.

DHRUV SHOREY EXIT FROM DELHI

He is a first-class cricketer with experience of 52 matches in his career for Delhi in domestic cricket. Dhruv Shorey also has a good record in List A cricket. He scored a total of 1945 runs in 60 A list matches with an average of 36.01 runs. Talking about the Indian Premier League(IPL), Dhruv Shorey was part of MS Dhoni’s successful franchise, Chennai Super Kings(CSK). He was part of the CSK in Ipl in 2018 and 2019. However, he played only two matches for the team.

Lately, Dhruv Shorey has asked DDCA(Delhi and Districts Cricket Associations) to issue him a NOC(No Objection Certificate). The certificate will allow him to play for different teams as well. Earlier, cricketer Nitish Rana had also asked for the issuance of NOC to DDCA.

He shared an Instagram post to thank DDCA for providing him with opportunities throughout his career.

In an Instagram post he stated

“I would like to express my profound gratitude for the great journey I’ve had with the DDCA over the years. As I move on to the new opportunities, I would like to take this moment to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for the DDCA for giving me opportunities to lead and learn”

He further added

“I would like to thank my coaches, playing staff, captains, senior players, and teammates with whom I have had the privilege to play and learn from you. I would like to extend my appreciation to Mr. Rohan Jaitley for all his support during this journey”
