Jaden Montnor, the 21-year-old Dutch forward, currently plays for Aris Limassol in the Cypriot first division. In his debut season, he’s been a regular player, scoring four goals in 19 games across various competitions. Aris Limassol currently stands at the third position in Cypriot First Division securing 23 points in their first 11 games.

Having already played in Austria and now Cyprus, Montnor seems eager to explore football opportunities across Europe. His dreams are set on playing in the Premier League someday. Despite already competing for Aris Limassol in this season’s Europa League group stages and even defeating Rangers from Scotland, Montnor shared his aspirations in an interview with VoetbalPrimeur.

Also, the Premier League holds a prestigious status in global football. It’s common for aspiring talents, like Montnor, to express their eagerness to test themselves in England, considering it as the top tier of football competition.

Montnor desires to play for Chelsea

Surprisingly, Montnor expressed a strong desire to eventually join Chelsea, stating,

I would like to go to England, but if a Dutch club suits me better, I will. Otherwise, my preference is always the Premier League, specifically Chelsea.”

Additionally, he compared his playing style to high-profile wingers like Marcus Rashford from Manchester United and Rafael Leao from AC Milan. Montnor elaborated,

I see myself as a player like Marcus Rashford or Rafael Leao. I think more like Leao, who I consider one of the best players currently. Sometimes on TV, he doesn’t seem too fast, but when you watch him play, he surpasses opponents effortlessly. It’s truly amazing.”

Montnor’s ambition to play for a renowned club like Chelsea showcases his determination to thrive on a bigger stage. His journey across different European leagues signifies his willingness to pursue his passion for football and face new challenges in diverse football environments.
