As per reports, Dybala wants a move away to Inter Milan leaving Juventus at the end of the season. This bit of news might enable Mikel Arteta to pursue Inter forward Lautaro Martinez. Arteta and Edu eyed Lautaro for a while and Dybala’s shock move might be a blessing in disguise. As the Gunners’ management sees, Lautaro might be a long term signing at the Emirates.

Current stance of Dybala

According to Gazetta Dello Sport, the Argentine already made his decision on leaving Turin in the summer. Furthermore, Dybala will leave for free. Earlier, various media outlets linked him with a move away to Arsenal. But now it seems he decided to extend his stay in Italy.

The Gunners are looking to bring reinforcements to bolster their squad for the next season. Accordingly, they would like to land one or better, two strikers at the Emirates. Lautaro Martinez fits the profile for Arteta and Co. and will definitely give their best shot to sign him. Dybala moving to Inter might be a blessing in disguise for Arsenal. Both the Argentine share similar profile and style of play. Due to this reason, Inter might consider selling Lautaro and receive a huge cheque in return.

Another Italian news outlet, Calciomercato claimed that Lautaro is on Arsenal’s radar and they already shortlisted him for a possible summer transfer target. The Argentine was linked with Arsenal previously but Inter, then, recently offloaded Lukaku to Chelsea.

Exploits in Serie A from Lautaro Martinez

Lautaro is just 24 years old and already bagged 11 goals for Inter in 22 Serie A games. Overall, for Inter, he scored 70 goals in 177 games. He carried his scoring prowess for his national team where he scored 19 goals in 37 caps for La Albiceleste and played a key part in their Copa American winning campaign last year.

Arsenal were quoted a price of £72 million last term to sign him by the Nerazzuri. But according to Tuttomercatoweb, a price of £58 million will be enough to secure the Argentine’s goal-scoring proficiency.
