Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah might leave the club after Kai Havertz joined Arsenal from Chelsea this summer, as per reports.

Gunners have agreed a £65 million deal with Chelsea which would see the German international joins them this summer. Havertz is excited to part of Arteta’s squad next season. He will undergo medical after agreeing personal terms with them.

After signing Havertz this summer, Arsenal are currently working on the negotiations with Declan Rice from West Ham and Jurrien Timber from Ajax.

While the transfer activities are positive news for the club supporters, but the eminent arrival of Kai Havertz may have created a unwanted problem for Arteta. Eddie Nketiah might leave the club, as he believes there will be lack of game time of him next season.

According to the Sun, Eddie Nketiah has been “unsettled” by the club’s approach for Havertz. The 24-year-old might leave the club and clubs such as Crystal Palace and West Ham United are on red alert.

Eddie Nketiah needs to be very patient with the current situation

Meanwhile, The Sun stated about the situation:-

“Eddie’s at a key stage in his career. He feels he’s now proved he can score goals at the highest level and the next step is to be playing week in week out.

“But the fact the club has decided to invest so heavily in another striker has left Eddie wondering if he really has a future at the club.

“There would certainly be no shortage of takers if he were to push for a move. Crystal Palace and West Ham are both near the front of the queue.

Both clubs lack a 20-goal-a-season man which Nketiah believes he can be in the Premier League.

“However, Arsenal are said to be in no mood to ‘rush Nketiah on’ and want to keep him at the Emirates.

“Mikel Arteta rates Eddie very highly,” the source added.

“Now they are in the Champions League he thinks the club needs at least three top strikers. He was so keen to bring in Kai Havertz, a player with proven Premier League and European experience.

“Arteta may also play with two up front more often next season so he wants to have more options at his disposal.

“Eddie will need to be patient and it will come down to whether he’s prepared to do that or not.”
