England is touring Pakistan after a long time. This time the two teams will fight in the longer format of the game. England won the first high-scoring test matches. For the second test matches, England expected to recall Ben Foakes who will replace Liam Livingstone.
Ben Foakes is expected to call for a second test match
The second test match will be played in Multan ground. It’s a good test match playing ground. On this ground, Pakistan has held its firm strongly as they have lost only one match in this ground. For the second match, there are some changes expected. Liam Livingstone suffered a knee injury and he is ruled out of the series. With his absence, England will be short of one bowler. Ben Stokes would want to add a new bowler to their lineup, so Overton is expected to play.
Another part-time spinner, Will Jacks impressed everyone with his bowling spell. So he might bowl longer spells. Another option is Rehan Ahmad who was later added to the squad. He is a young talent who could prove worth for England in the batting and bowling department. But his performance for the national cricket team is yet to happen.
There is another option for changes. It will be who will take the gloves. Olie Pop was good at a number of times but he was not steady. Ben Foakes is expected to recover and he might take gloves for the second match.
