England unveil 2 separate squads for the T20 World Cup 2022 and the Pakistan tour

Recently a big cricketing event got over – Asia Cup 2022. Sri Lanka won their 6th Asia Cup title. With another mega event around the corner – The T20 World Cup, teams are busy with some T20 series. Pakistan recently concluded their Asia Cup campaign and now they are ready to host England. England or be it any other nation is visiting Pakistan after a long gap. England are also busy preparing themselves for the T20 world cup in Australia. Accordingly, England Cricket Board unveiled 2 different squads for the Pakistan tour and the T20 World Cup.

T20 world cup squad: Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, Jonathan Bairstow, Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Chris Jordan, Liam Livingstone, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Ben Stokes, Reece Topley, David Willey, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood

Standby reserves:  Liam Dawson, Richard Gleeson, Tymal Mills

Pakistan tour squad: Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, Harry Brook, Jordan Cox, Sam Curran, Ben Duckett, Liam Dawson, Richard Gleeson, Tom Helm, Will Jacks, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Olly Stone, Reece Topley, David Willey, Chris Woakes, Luke Wood, Mark Wood.

England is currently ranked 2nd in the ICC ranking list. England recently concluded 2 t20i series. It were against India and South Africa. Unfortunately, England lost both of them. England will also play against Australia in some days.

Pakistan is yet to announce their squad for the home series against England. Pakistan had a very good campaign in Asia Cup 2022. They were the finalist but could not clinch the trophy. They have been in form and are also favorites for winning the World Cup. Pakistan are ranked 3 in ICC t20 rankings.
