The summer transfer window is yet to open but clubs are already looking to lock-up their targets with pre agreements. Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea are also looking to wrap up their dream transfer as soon as the window opens.

The West London club is known for signing some exciting young talents in the past few years. Now, the player in question is Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao Willian, one of the most highly rated young players in South America. It has been reported that a verbal agreement is done between the two parties for the move.

The transfer expert has recently shared on his X the latest ongoing scenario between the two sides. He wrote,

“Chelsea want to seal Willian Estevao deal as soon as possible after personal terms agreed, as reported. Negotiations underway with Palmeiras while #CFC want to get it done in the next days to avoid any surprise. Chelsea believe he’s generational talent and big opportunity.

The signing will hugely depend upon the personal terms with the player. Although he may not be able to start for the Blues before 2025 until he gets 18, he is one of the most exciting talents in Southern America. It can be a huge breakthrough for Todd Boehly in terms of a long-term project.

Joao Paulo Sampaio, the head of Palmeiras’ youth setup, told the FIFA website last year,

“One thing these kinds of players have is a strong personality, a big ego to say: ‘I am, I can and I will’. And they do it. For these out-of-this-world talents, things come easy. It’s difficult for your average player, who make up the vast majority.”

Chelsea have recently found their form in the latter stage under Mauricio Pochettino as they look to finish at a European spot. With just a couple of matchweeks left, lets see what they have got in their pockets to surprise fans.
