Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz is said to have been valued at £26m by the Italian giants. This has been reported by journalist Matteo Moretto.

The Spanish midfielder has long been linked to Premier League clubs. However, no deal has materialized during his four-year stay at Napoli.

This could change this summer, as Moretto reports that Napoli is set to sell the player this season. This is because Ruiz has one year left on his contract and they do not want to leave him as a free agent.

He posted on his Twitter page: “Fabian Ruiz has a contract that ends in 2023 and the priority of the parties is to find a sale this summer. The project must be adequate, otherwise, it could stay another year. Today Naples asks [for] 30 million [euros].”

Both Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked to the Spanish midfielder this summer.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to have shown interest in the player in recent weeks.

Moreover, Arsenal has also been heavily linked to Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans. The Belgian has also a year left on his contract and it is said that he could well make a move to the London club in the coming weeks.

On the other hand, Manchester United are on the lookout for new midfielders. Therefore, they have been linked to Frenkie De Jong and Ruben Neves in recent weeks.

A report also states that United have agreed to pay the amount of £69m for De Jong.

How much will Fabian Ruiz flourish in the Premier League?

Fabian Ruiz has enjoyed quite a good time at Napoli over the years.

He has made 166 appearances for the club across all competitions. During this tenure, he scored 22 goals.

Since joining the Italian club he has been an important member of the club.

He was bought for £26m from Real Betis by Napoli back in 2018.
