Fabrizio Romano Confirms Imminent Major Transfer as Chelsea Agree “Personal Terms” with Moises Caicedo

According to renowned Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has reached an agreement on personal terms with Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo. It has set the stage for crucial talks between the two Premier League clubs to finalize a transfer deal for the Ecuador international.

Caicedo has showcased excellent performances for Brighton over the past 18 months. And he was on the verge of joining Arsenal in January. With Albion reportedly rejecting a £70 million bid from the Gunners. While Caicedo expressed his desire to leave at that time, the deal fell through. The ongoing discussions may also be influenced by the future of Chelsea center-back Levi Colwill. He impressed on loan at Brighton last season. Albion is keen to secure a permanent deal for the talented left-sided defender. As he recently received a call-up to the England squad. It will be interesting to see whether a separate agreement will be reached for Colwill. Or if his situation will be intertwined with the Caicedo negotiations.

Many people were expecting the departure of Caicedo from Brighton this summer. After the transfer of World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool for an initial fee of £35 million earlier this month. Brighton who have been under the guidance of manager Roberto De Zerbi.
