Fakhar Zaman misfielding twice left Babar Azam furious

Babar Azam was totally furious after Fakhar Zaman made two misfielding in the first innings. It was in the last over when the fast bowler Haris Rauf came to bowl. Ravi Bishoi who came to bat at the last over managed 8 runs thereafter. India thus successfully reached 181 after 20 overs.

Fakhar Zaman couldn’t manage a great day while fielding. Winning the toss, Pakistan sent India for batting at first at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. While fielding, Earlier in the match, Fakhar got involved in a horrible miscommunication with Khushdil Shah earlier in the match.

However, Khushdil managed to grab a ball. Both of them really collided while going for the catch. Haris Rauf however gifted Pakistan their first wicket by dismissing Rohit Sharma. Sharma was batting dangerously, raining boundaries in the powerplay.

Two misfields from Fakhar Zaman frustrated Babar

The last over of India’s innings was a bit frustrating for Pakistan. Fakhar Zaman made two misfields henceforth conceding eight runs. Haris Rauf however started the over with dot balls. Moreover, Pak got Virat Kohli’s wicket after Asif ran Virat out at the striker’s end. Kohli was trying to run for two runs. Asif Ali’s throw cleared Kohli’s way towards the pavilion.

In the final over, Ravi Bishnoi clearing his front leg sliced one at the point. Fakhar was left befuddled as the ball lopped past him towards the boundary.

Thereafter, Fakhar dropped a catch in the very next ball due to over-running. Not only that, he guarded the ball towards the boundary. It gifted India their valuable four runs. The Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam was absolutely frustrated with Fakahr’s actions in the closing situation of the Indian innings.

Pakistan were however pretty nice with their fielding. They took catches in the deep. India henceforth was losing regular wickets in their first innings. Virat Kohli however stood tall as he 44-ball 60. It thus helped India to put 181 for 7 on the board after 20 overs.
