After a thrashing defeat by Chelsea, fans are labelling Norwich as the ‘worst team in the Premier League.

The Blues defeated the Canaries 7-0 at Stamford Bridge and left the team in shambles. With total domination, the Blues never gave the Canaries a chance to fight back. A rather expected result and a rather expected performance extended Chelsea’s lead in the league.

On the other hand, the Canaries are sitting last in the Premier League table with 7 defeats and zero wins. As a result, fans took to social media to share their disappointment with not only the result but Norwich’s performance.

Fans raging and asking for Norwich to get ‘relegated now’ from the Premier League

With a totally disheartening start to the season, fans are asking to relegate Norwich ‘now’, followed by 5-yrs ban from the Premier League.

One supporter’s Tweet read: ‘Relegate Norwich immediately and never allow to get promoted again.’, while another added: ‘Norwich is a disgrace to the Premier League. One of the worst teams ever.’

While one fan shared the following: ‘Norwich should be banned from the Premier League. Absolute embarrassment, even worse than they were a couple of years ago’.

‘I mean Chelsea look good but Norwich have got to be the worst Premier League team of all time already. Just relegate them now man what a pointless club.’ – said another Norwich supporter.

With trolls and memes coming from all directions, the Canaries don’t seem to have a bright future.

Meanwhile Chelsea fans rejoiced as the Blues had no problem scoring without their Belgian powerhouse. First-half strikes from Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James were enough to destroy Norwich’s hopes.

Another 4 goals in the second half sealed the game with a scintillating performance by Mason Mount. The 22-yrs-old CM who was looking forward to get on the scoresheet, did it in style as he managed to score a hattrick and provide an assist to James. He was later given the ‘Man of the Match honour.
