GW12 of Premier League is back this Saturday after a long splinter of the international break, The first game of the GW12 will be Leicester vs Chelsea and one to look forward to is Liverpool vs Arsenal.
Moreover, the most exciting news is, there won’t be any international breaks till march. Therefore, the players we select should be able to get us through until then.
Till GW11 the high scoring defenders are Cancelo, Trent and, James. Getting 67, 64, 63 points respectively. Having at least two of these three high-scoring defenders is a must.
Premier League: GW12 Team
The team is similar and we won’t be making a large number of changes to it as we have already used our wildcard. However, since Sanchez is suspended for Brighton and we don’t have a backup starting goalkeeper we will need one.
Ben Foster at 4.1 million looks like a perfect keeper for GW12 and also for the upcoming games. Watford will be facing Manchester United and Leicester for the upcoming GWs.
Mo Salah is the most popular choice for the captain’s armband for the upcoming GW12. With almost 70% of FPL managers going for him as a captain.
Arsenal is in great form and has been a very good defensive side even though it’s at Anfield looking at the previous performance of Liverpool it doesn’t look like it will be a one-sided game.
Meanwhile, Cancelo and Trent Alexander Arnold look very good captaincy choices as they have clean sheet potential in GW12 against Everton and Arsenal respectively.
Everton has lost their previous three games and Man City could make it four. Selecting a captain from Man City at the moment looks more promising than going for Mo Salah this week.
Top Captaincy Options:
Mo Salah: The Egyptian King is one of the most consistent players in the Premier League and also unpredictable. Moreover, he is also on penalty duties which is a bonus.
Cristiano Ronaldo: The Portuguese forward is also one of the most consistent players and against Watford, he could get some goals that could prove a good captaincy option as well as a differential one.
Joao Cancelo: The full-back is one of the most regular and consistent players in Pep’s team and could also provide assist alongside a clean sheet which could be a great added advantage.
Trent Alexander Arnold: The Liverpool defender is having huge potential on set pieces thus making him a great threat. He along with attacking returns has clean sheet potential making him a great choice
Conor Gallaher: The Chelsea academy star currently on loan at Palace. He has 2 assists and 4 goals from 10 games. Gallaher is a very good option as Palace takes on Burnley and could provide some great attacking returns.
Make sure you lock in your team before 20th November 4:30 PM IST.
