Folarin Balogun gives a positive hint amid the Arsenal transfer rumors

Folarin Balogun

Arsenal fans were recently worried over a Folarin Balogun transfer rumor. Rumors about a potential transfer arose earlier this month. Folarin Balogun is currently on a loan deal at Reims. Furthermore the player is currently thriving in his loan spell. Moreover the player have managed to outscore the likes of PSG‘s Neymar and Messi in Ligue 1. He have scored 15 goals in his 25 appearance so far this season. Therefore as a result to his wonderful performance these rumors arose. News reports claimed that Folarin Balogun is unlikely to stay at Arsenal as a back up to Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah next season. Dean Jones even stated that Arsenal would claim £50m for the player. However a recent Instagram post now suggests that the player might not be going anywhere. Although it is no concrete evidence but it is enough to give hopes to the Arsenal fans.

Folarin Balogun gives Arsenal fans some hope amid the transfer rumors

A fan had made a compilation video of the player’s performance this season. The fan had added a caption stating,  “Going to be like a new signing for Arsenal next year.” Folarin Balogun reposted that story while also including the caption with it. Although this is not a bonafide confirmation that he will indeed return back to Arsenal and play for them. But it does gave the Gunners fans some hope for future. His act suggested that he too agrees with the notion that he will play at the Emirates next season. Therefore the fans thoroughly expect Folarin Balogun to become an important player for the Gunners next season. If he failed to do so, he would at least secure himself a loan deal to a bigger club that Reims. There he could put talents to test.

Therefore whatever happens, it is unlikely for Folarin Balogun to leave Arsenal permanently. And if he returns to Arsenal next season, he could very well follow the footsteps of Bukayo Saka under Arteta. With his vast talents, Balogun might become another Saka at North London.
