Former Arsenal man Hector Bellerin agress with United legend Gary Neville as they both back Arsenal to win Premier League Title this season.
Gunners currently sit in third position the Premier Table behind Liverpool and league leaders Manchester City. Mikel Arteta and Edu Gasper have been busy in the summer transfer window to bolster their squad.
Gunners were close to winning the title in the previous campaign, but they fell out at the very end. Injuries to some of their important players such as William Saliba, Arsenal missed out narrowly.
Bellerin left the club after nearly playing for a decade in the senior team. Despite his exit, the Former Arsenal man backs his old team to win the league title and said :-
“He’s constantly learning and that’s what is good about him.
“He’s able to adapt, learn from his mistakes and to become a new Arteta every season. When he was a player, he was already coaching some of us and you could see he had great ideas. I remember he would talk to us about how he thinks the game would go and how we should press. It was great and we all kind of knew he would step up a be a manager.
“For sure. There was some very young players in that team but now they have a lot of experience like Bukayo [Saka] himself and I think that’s what they were missing that they now have and every year it’s just going to be a better one for them and I think where Arsenal football club deserve to be.”
Neville claims Manchester City won’t win their fourth consecutive Premier League Title
Gary Neville claims Manchester City won’t win the Premier Title in this current campaign, as the United legend backs Arsenal to win the league.
Speaking on The Gary Neville podcast, he said :-
“I’ve got Arsenal to win the league this year. That post-treble feeling, what it would have taken out of those City players and staff would have been enormous.
“They could easily win the league this season and obviously it is just one game, but little results like that give the other teams encouragement. We know City have lost games in the past and gone on long winning runs so we can’t write them off but it will give a lot of encouragement to Arsenal.”
