EFL Championship table-toppers, Fulham are considering a move for the French playmaker Angelo Fulgini. Fulham are certain to lose out on Andre Frank Zambo who is currently on loan to Napoli. Following this, the Cottagers have identified Fulgini as his replacement.

The Cottagers manager Marco Silva is looking to strengthen his options in the midfield in the upcoming January transfer window, and will apparently get the green light from the board to do so.

Fulgini is a versatile midfielder who can play in a number of positions from deep-lying midfielder to a false nine, which is something the Fulham boss looks for in a player. He has a blend of flair and creativity in his style of play which would suit the way how Fulham likes to play their football.

The 25-year-old midfielder has become a regular in the Ligue 1 side this season. He has appeared 14 times for the Black and Whites this term, netting 2 goals and providing 2 assists. It is safe to say that the midfielder is in the prime of his career.

Fugini has attracted interest from other clubs over the past year. He was wanted by Feyenoord last summer but the two clubs could not reach an agreement.

The player is reportedly wishing to play in the English league. Fulham’s promotion charge is something that comes into play with this deal. The player will want to play in the top tier and will certainly bolster the Cottagers’ chances of promoting to the Premier League.

How likely is Fulgini’s move to Fulham in the January transfer window?

As per several reports, Fulgini is desperate for a move to the English league. The French side Angers SCO have put a price tag of £18 million for anyone interested in the midfielder.

Angers’ will consider the deal if someone is to approach with the right offer. While the officials of the French club have travelled to England in order to discuss a potential deal.

The West London side are still considering their options, and it would be an expensive deal to bring Fulgini to the Craven Cottage in the middle of the season. So there is a chance that the Cottagers look for a cheaper alternative.

But the English side seems to be impressed by the versatile midfielder and will certainly consider moving in for him for the right price.
