Fulham eye three straight league wins as they welcome Blackburn Rovers at the Craven Cottage in the Championship. Fulham annihilated Blackburn Rover in the reverse fixture played in November last year. The visitors won the game 0-7 with braces from Kebano, Wilson, and Muniz while Mitrovic bagged one goal.

Fulham have a very good record against Blackburn Rovers recently. Rovers have failed to beat Fulham in their last five meetings with an aggregate of 13-2.

The Cottagers come into this game with bags of confidence after their back-to-back wins in the league. They have won eight of their last ten league games, drawing one and losing one. They are marching towards another Premier League promotion.

Their recent 0-1 win against Cardiff City means they are now 9 points clear of Bournemouth on the top of the table. But Scott Parker’s men hold two games in hand over Fulham which could reduce their deficit.

The visitors on the other hand have just recently got back to winning ways after a spell of disappointing results. Their hopes of automatic promotion were dealt a huge blow due to their performances since the new year. They have only managed to win two of their last 11 games in all competitions, which includes their 3rd round FA Cup exit at the hands of Wigan.

However, they returned to winning ways in their last league game as they beat QPR 1-0. They will be hoping to build from this win and get their revenge against Fulham for the humiliating defeat earlier this season.

Marco Silva will be without the services of Tom Cairney and Terence Kongolo who are both injured. They have no other player sidelined due to injury.

Possible Fulham starting line-up

Marek Rodak; Neco Williams, Tosin Adarabioyo, Tim Ream, Antonee Robinson; Harrison Reed, Nathaniel Chalobah; Bobby Reid, Fabio Carvalho, Harry Wilson; Aleksandar Mitrovic

Ryan Nyambe was withdrawn in the 58th minute in their last game due to an injury. Deyovaisio Zeefuik is the favorite to replace him on the right-wing-back position.

Possible Blackburn Rovers staring line-up

Thomas Kaminski; Scott Wharton, Jan Paul van Hecke, Darragh Lenihan; Harry Pickering, Joe Rothwell, Lewis Travis, Deyovaisio Zeefuik; Sam Gallagher, Reda Khadra, John Buckley

Our Prediction

Fulham 3-1 Blackburn Rovers

It is quite difficult for Fulham to replicate the score-line from earlier this season, but they will still come away with all three points. The Cottager have momentum going for them and also hold the best home record in the division. Their star player Mitrovic is enjoying his form in from of the goal and could be on the scoresheet yet again.

Blackburn have been off the pace recently. Although they won their last game, beating Fulham at the Craven Cottage is a big ask. The unavailability of Brereton Diaz upfront will hurt them in this game. It will be difficult for them to get anything out of this game.
