He has great passing accuracy and can keep possession of the ball even in tough conditions. He can even play simple and accurate passes after his ball retention that can lead to shots.
Tottenham does have good midfielders but they need more challenge and variety in the squad to get the best out of players. Wijnaldum might also have a point to prove to his former club to show them that they have done a mistake by selling him. He has the nerves to play calmly in a big game and get results for his team.
