The report suggests that Graham Potter wants to sign a striker in the January transfer window. Reports by Jeunes Footeux suggest Potter wants a striker at Chelsea during the January transfer window. He has a name for whom he’d like to see Stamford.

The player that Graham Potter has in his mind is Jonathan David. The 22 years old has been pretty good for Lillie in the French league. He scored 19 goals last season. He’s currently on Potter’s radar. Arsenal and Manchester United are also keen to sign this Canadian international. Although he has three years left on his contract, Lille would consider a good offer while the player is also keen to sign for a Premier League side.

David spoke to Sky Sports about the speculations, he said:

“The next step is always growing, having more ambition maybe a bigger club I think,

“Everyone wants to play for a massive club in their life. So if I had the chance to do it I would go for it, for sure.

“I think they are two different leagues. But I think I can adapt to both for sure,”

he added when asked about whether he’d prefer the Premier League or La Liga.

And I think that the experience I have had here in France, it will help me a lot if I need to adapt to some place else, a lot faster. So yeah, I think both leagues suit me.’
