Furthermore, they are given an off on Sunday following their loss to Southampton. Chelsea saw their disappointing season take another turn for worse. The Saints came to Stamford Bridge managerless and picked up the three points that they needed. James Ward-Prowse scored the only goal of the match. The results of that match can prove to be significant to Graham Potter. Chelsea supporters are now growing tired of the lack of progress. Moreover, after this shambolic loss, the fans are now encouraging a change.

Chelsea manager Graham Potter under further scrutiny

According to several reports, Chelsea are not due to train on Monday either. However, it is understood that they would be given a second day off after their lackluster performance. The Blues are to travel to Tottenham for their next match next weekend. But despite of fans growing agitation regarding Graham Potter, Boehly is expected to back the manager. The Chelsea higher-up made a bold move by sacking Tuchel. Who was a fan-favorite at the time. He instilled Potter in place of Tuchel last September. For that reason Boehly wants Graham Potter to be successful. The Blues have only managed to win 2 of their last 11 matches. This does not even cover 1/5th of the fans’ expectations. The fans feel like Potter is not the right fit for a club as big as Chelsea.

They have also spent a hefty amount in the January transfer window in hopes of improvement. However, improvement is yet to be seen in their performances. Chelsea and their manager Graham Potter have spent over £ 600 million on signings since Boehly took over the club.
