The former Tottenham star, Harry Kane was supposed to join Manchester United, however, he ended up going to Bayern Munich instead. The striker went with hopes of winning trophies but unfortunately, he will be going trophy-less this season. Bayern Munich lost the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen after their 11-year grip on it.

Moreover, the Bundesliga giants got out of the UEFA Champions League after losing to Real Madrid on a 4-3 aggregate in the semi-finals. In a quickfire interview with GOAL, Harry Kane was asked who he believes is the greatest finisher of all time. Without any hesitation, the England international took Cristiano Ronaldo’s name. Kane had no doubt in saying ‘Ronnie‘, who has scored a record 890 senior career goals for club and country. Despite both being on the list of best finishers, Harry Kane’s luck with trophies hasn’t been all that great compared to Cristiano Ronaldo’s.

Media talks about the Harry Kane curse after Bayern Munich lose the Bundesliga title

Harry Kane is on the list of being one of the best finishers in the world. Despite this, he hasn’t won a single trophy with a club. The striker has scored 36 goals and provided 8 assists in 32 appearances in the Bundesliga. Moreover, he scored 8 goals along with 4 assists in 12 Champions League matches. Kane’s signing to Bayern Munich was huge and the player’s performance exceeded the expectation of the fans. However, due to Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten streak this season the German giants lost the Bundesliga title.

Despite this, Kane’s fate could change in the coming years, with Bayern Munich usually a German powerhouse. Additionally, England winning the 2024 Euros will be a massive deal for the striker. England are the current favorites to win the Euros and with the squad they have it could just happen.
