Harry Kane shares what surprised him after he left Tottenham

Former Tottenham Hotspur captain Harry Kane shares what suprised him after leaving England. Kane left Tottenham Hotspur in the summer for Bayern Munich. Speaking to TNT Sports after 1-0 win over Manchester United, the England international said it was difficult for him since the switch. The North London club lost their all time top-scorer to the Bavarians for a €90m. However, Ange Postecoglou has been doing a fair business without the Premier League legend. The transfer marked an end to a fantastic 10-year spell of Kane with Tottenham.

Despite losing him, Tottenham are flying in the English top flight and currently stand fifth in the table. If we ignore a small dark patch of games, Ange has been doing a phenomenal job with his men. Their recent venture of 4-1 win over Newcastle is a clear evidence of that. On the other hand, Kane is also doing magnificent in the Bundesliga.

The talisman has a staggering 22 goals and 8 assists in 20 games so far for the Bavarians. But he admits that it was not all a smooth journey since the start. Speaking to TNT Sports, the Englishman said,

“It’s been difficult. It was my first move in my career so I probably didn’t realise how much goes into it.

Not just with the team, but the personal stuff with the family. Thankfully we have found a house now and will be looking to move in after the winter break, so it’s nice to have that settled.

This is a familiar stadium for me, but even playing in new stadiums, different fans, it’s given me a real excitement.”

Its certainly a surprise to hear from Kane after his flabbergasting numbers. He is soaring under Thomas Tuchel and was the protagonist of the match-winning goal from Coman yesterday. It won’t be a surprise for Spurs fans seeing their legend blasting in Germany. Though, there won’t be any regret for them looking at their current form.
