Harvey Vale is set to return to Chelsea after his loan spell

Harvey Vale has been recalled by Chelsea after his loan spell at Hull City ended prematurely. Harvey Vale have struggled with minutes at Hull City. Furthermore, his progress at Hull City has been halted after his injury. The player got injured earlier this season and now have been called back to Chelsea. The youngster had joined Hull City on a year-long loan deal in the summer. But the youngster have struggled with minutes during his time there. The youngster featured in Hull City’s FA Cup match against Fulham. The 19-year-old is now the second player to return to Stamford Bridge this season after a loan spell. His teammate Jayden Wareham’s loan spell at Leyton Orient also came to an end this season.

Harvey Vale has returned to Chelsea from Hull City

The youngster was still struggling to get minutes at Hull City after his loan deal with them in the summer. His progress is further rendered after he suffered an injury earlier this season. Harvey Vale have just made two Championship appearance for Hull City. He also featured in the FA Cup competition for the club. Any possibility for more appearances for the player seems fraught as of now. Despite the Hull City manager singing praises for the player. He said,

“They’ve both [Vale and Xavier Simson] made an excellent impression on me. Harvey’s got some outstanding abilities and is a really good athlete.”

Vale have joined the Blues back for the rest of the season. He have already made an appearance for the club in the Papa Johns Trophy.

As he had already appeared for two senior sides in the 2022-23 season, Harvey Vale is ineligible to feature for any other club. His remaining minutes for this season could either come from playing for Chelsea U-23 or for manager Graham Potter’s side. The young academy player had signed a new three-year deal with the Blues before he was loaned out to Hull City in the summer.
