Siraj has been in brilliant form in the ODI and test format. He is doing the work of Bumrah, India’s best fast bowler. Siraj recently became the No. 1 bowler in the ODI format. Dinesh Karthik says Siraj deserves a spot in the ODI World cup.

“I’m very sure that he would be part of the 2023 World Cup team. He deserves that spot, he has done really well. The 2022 IPL taught him a lot of things about handling failures, and that has kept him in good stead. I see him as one of those — let’s just say he doesn’t get injuries — at least a 300-wicket Test bowler,”
He further added on Siraj that
“He definitely has the aptitude for that, he has the skill set for that. It’s only a matter of whether he can stay fit for that long. He has shown so far that he’s very reliable. His strongest in Test cricket, one-dayers will come after that. T20s is where he is still learning,”
Siraj has improved a lot after having a poor IPL season last year. He proved giving a long run in the team, makes the player better. Nowadays in International cricket, he has been a consistent performer in the squad.
Apart from the skills in fast bowling, he has, the hunger to do well has helped him to grow bigger and bigger. He has filled the gap of Bumrah not playing and made sure that Bumrah is missed by the team.
