Kovacic is a really good dribbler when he’s in form. He is often taken as underrated by rivals, but he shows his quality on the pitch. Graham Potter has used him well in midfield. Potter wants to be quick in the build-up play which suits player like Kovacic to break lines.

Reports by The Evening Standard suggest Chelsea wants to propose a new contract to Kovacic after World Cup. He has become a regular starter under Potter, it would be better for Chelsea to sign him for the long term.
