Impressive Suryakumar shines again, takes India to victory against Western Australia

Cricket

Suryakumar Yadav can hardly put a foot wrong on the field these days. He is batting as a dream scoring runs for fun. The purple patch for the Indian no 4 continues, as he scores yet another fifty in a warmup game against Western Australia.
India lost early wickets when Suryakumar walked in under a pressure situation. But the way he is playing, the bowlers are under pressure, not him.
India lost Rohit Sharma early. Hooda came in at number 3, but could not get going. Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar combined for a 49-run partnership in the seventh over to reduce India to 45 for three. Surya hit three boundaries and three sixes in his 35-ball 52 to help India reach 158 for six.

The six that caught everyone’s eye

The shot that created a buzz among the fans was six-over midwicket. The ball soared high into the sky when Suryakumar whipped a middle stump ball over the midwicket boundary. That was a massive blow and the fans were on their feet cheering for the superstar. The shot was so effortless that the spectators could hardly believe that it traveled all over the ropes.
Bhuvaneshwar and Arshdeep were brilliant with the ball. They were not only economical but also took crucial wickets. They were well supported by Chahal and Harshal Patel. India restricted Western Australia to a score of 145-8.
