Harshal Patel will never forget 27th September when he won for Royal challengers Bangalore(RCB)
Fifties scored by Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell helped the team get across a respected total on slow wicket.
Other batsmen like Bharat also took the opportunity and smashed the ball several times against MI bowling line-up.
Patel’s Outstanding Spell
Although, the winning factor were bowlers who did a great job in capitalising pressure on the batsmen.
Then there comes the magical spell from Patel which dismantled the batting line-up of Mumbai Indians in just a over.
Patel also bowled economically with less than six runs per over and 4 wickets in four over.
Harshal Patel or Purple Patel, however you’d like to call him….Patel did this once again against Mumbai Indians(MI) this year and won the game for RCB by getting three consecutive wickets.
The 30-year-old uncapped Indian bowler just couldn’t be enough grateful…he also did well in his domestic career but this year IPL has been a complete break through for this gentleman.
Impressed by Patel, Virat kohli and his company finally had a day full of smiles after losing three consecutive matches.
A day with complete performance of cricket with negligible mistakes which Virat kohli mentioned in the post match interview where he also appriciated the whole team but congratulated Patel specifically for his hat-trick but this all couldn’t have happened without the hardwork that this whole team has put off and everyone can notice that clearly.
The whole team of RCB deserves applause and love by everyone but Harshal Patel deserves to get the extra credit as he’s doing the same for his team again and again this year with a humble attitude.
And this achievement provides a moral to learn, “persistence is the key to success.” Even though luck hasn’t been in favour with RCB for many times but with the best fans around..RCB is adored. Harshal Patel is still on the top with highest wickets in IPL 2021.
Purple Patel tricked the Mumbai Paltan with his skills and got an amazing hat-trick against MI yesterday.
