Ipl team-wise allocation of cricketers for India’s 2023 ODI World Cup Squad includes players from MI, GT, CSK, KKR, RCB, DC, and LSG.

IPL TEAM-WISE DISTRIBUTION

India is all set to host the most prestigious tournament in cricket, the World Cup, from October 5, 2023. Following this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) declared India’s squad for the World Cup. Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar, alongside Captain of the Indian team Rohit Sharma, announced a 15-member World Cup squad.

Meanwhile, cricket fans dig in about the distribution of players as per the Indian Premier League(Ipl) for the World Cup team.

In the World Cup Squad for 2023, the Ipl team-wise distribution consists of most of them from Mumbai Indians(MI). Four players from MI, namely., Skipper Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Ishan Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav, will represent India in the World Cup.

Followed by three players from Gujarat Titans(GT), namely., Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, and Mohammad Shami, will feature in the ODI World Cup 2023.

In addition, two players each from Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR), Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB), and Delhi Capitals(DC) will participate in the approaching World Cup.

From KKR, Shreyas Iyer and Shardul Thakur are in the World Cup squad. In addition, Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj from RCB are in the World Cup squad. Finally, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav from DC are the other two participating in the 2023 World Cup.

Lastly, the World Cup squad consists of one player each from Chennai Super Kings(CSK) and Lucknow Super Giants(LSG). Ravindra Jadeja from CSK and Kl Rahul from LSG will mark their presence in the 2023 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Prasidh Krishna and Tilak Verma will miss out on the World Cup Squad. They are currently part of the ongoing Asia Cup.
