Ishwar Pandey announces retirement and regrets not representing India once

Ishwar Pandey retires from all forms of cricket internationally and domestically as well. He is currently 33 years old and had represented Madhya Pradesh in Ranji Trophy. However, he will continue to play Road Safety League and international leagues. He announced through Instagram posts and thanked cricketers like MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, and many more for their guidance.

” To share dressing room with modern day greats like Virat Kohli MS Dhoni Yuvraj Singh Suresh Raina Ishant Sharma Ravindra Jadeja Bhuvneshwar Kumar was very special and to have played a match against Legend Sachin Tendulkar Sir was like a dream come true. I started watching cricket because of him and i have always admired him since my childhood. Cricket for me is everything and I will always love to be connected to this game. To all my fans and well wishers, I would like to thank you and I will want you all to keep supporting me with love you have always given to me. Forever and grateful and blessed. “

Ishwar Pandey expressed his dissatisfaction that although he played domestic tournaments and IPL too. But he could not make it to the Indian team. He will remain an uncapped Indian Player forever. Representing the country is a matter of pride and it is known very well how much it meant for Ishwar as well.

He is a right-arm fast bowler from Madhya Pradesh. He has played 75 first-class matches, 58 List A games, and 71 T20s. A total of 340 wickets are under his name including all formats. He played for Madhya Pradesh for Ranji Trophy. His name was in the squad of the Madhya Pradesh team which won the first trophy for their state. He played in IPL under franchises like Chennai Super Kings. He took 18 wickets out of 25 matches played in IPL.
