India’s premier pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel are sweating it out at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

Both of them suffered injuries just prior to the Asia Cup and thus will not be a part of the tournament where India will clash with arch-rivals Pakistan on the 28th of August.

When news of Bumrah’s injury came to the surface, it became doubtful whether the 28-year-old will be able to make it for the ICC T20 World Cup as well.

But, recently in a positive boost for India, Bumrah is doing rather well at the NCA. He shared a video of him doing a special drill where he can be seen jumping over hurdles.

Even Harshal Patel has taken a good step towards recovery. Both of these bowlers have become India’s mainstays in the past 12 months.

Both are doing well in the field as of now, but it remains to be seen how they do in the net sessions. India will be announcing their World Cup squad by the 15th of September.

So, this means that both Harshal and Bumrah have only three weeks to regain full fitness and their entire training will be monitored fully by the selectors.
