Newcastle have also entered the race to sign La Liga striker Joao Felix but the Atletico Madrid star wants a move to Manchester United.

The Portuguese departure from Atletico Madrid is quickly becoming one of the hot topics to keep an eye on as more stories develop. The Atletico striker is ready to leave the Spanish team. There’re many European clubs interested in him.

Joao Felix only wants Manchester United move

A number of clubs have linked with the striker including Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG, and of course, Manchester United. The Red Devils admire the player a lot.

A new video from the United Muppetiers, the most reliable source of United news;

“Joao Felix is said to be open to a move to United, if there is an interest or desire to buy the player from the side of the Red Devils.”

Newcastle’s interest in Joao Felix

According to Football Transfers, Newcastle have also jumped into the race to sign 23-year-old Portuguese forward. Irrespective of the interest from the top European Clubs, Felix only prefers a move to Old Trafford.

In the 2021/2022 season, Felix was named as Atletico Madrid’s Player of the Year. At 23 years old, Felix is now a regular starter for his club and country. His performances have turned the heads of clubs across Europe.

However, the report claims that the lack of Champions League football could be a reason why Felix decided against a move to Newcastle.
Similarly, Manchester United is also not in the Champions League, but the size and stature of the club are always an attraction for players.

If Red Devils improve their position in the league during the January transfer, Felix might prefer a move to United.

The only thing that seems to stand in the way of his departure is the incredible price tag on him. Atletico reportedly wants more than £90 million for the striker.
