Joe Cole praises Chelsea boss Graham Potter

Pochettino

Joe Cole has claimed that Chelsea Manager Graham Potter has been fantastic since joining the club.

The Former Brighton boss has faced lots of criticism as Chelsea are currently struggling in Premier League, standing in 10th position. Potter started his Chelsea career on a high note as he went nine matches unbeaten with the Blues. Those games include some high-voltage matches in the Champions League after a disastrous situation caused under Thomas Tuchel.

However lately, Potter’s side are struggling to hold up a winning streak and goal scoring has dried up for his side. But with signings incoming in January, there will be soon a change of situation at Stanford Bridge.

Despite some positive signs, West Ham held Blues to a 1:1 draw this weekend.

New signings Enzo Fernandez and João Felix have started their career positively in Chelsea colors, thus giving some boosts to Potter’s confidence in recent times.

Despite the poor reign of form, Former Chelsea player Joe Cole believes that Potter is doing a great job and hopes that the manager finishes the season on a high note.

As per Independent reports, Cole said:-

“I’ve got no problems with Graham Potter, I think he has been fantastic,” the 2008 Champions League finalist said. “I know that might sound absurd because of the league position. Every facet of the club has changed. He wasn’t brought in as an impact manager to come in and crack heads together. He is building something at Chelsea that is going to be successful over the long term.”

Chelsea will have a huge task of facing Borrusia Dortmund in the Champions League, this week. With some major players signed in January, the Blues will like to end the season on a positive note.
