Borussia Dortmund are not open to selling Jude Bellingham and will not entertain any offers. They have even agreed a new and improved contract with the England international.
The 18-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in 2020/21 following his £25,000,000 move from Birmingham City. He has featured in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
The youngster had even broken into the Three Lions’ squad for Euro 2020. He was given his eighth England cap against Andorra on Sunday.
With the kick-off of the new season, Bellingham has registered a goal and three assists in just five appearances. His performances are inevitably garnering plenty of interest from across Europe.
Jude Bellingham – The Wonderkid
The player has stated he is happy in Germany. He hopes to establish himself as a key player for the Black and Yellows which could greatly aid him in gaining a place in next year’s World Cup team for England.
Premier League trio Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United remain interested in snapping him up much earlier. Liverpool are even weighing up a potential bid of approximately £80,000,000 next summer.
It is clear Klopp is eager to sign a new midfielder soon, having failed to secure a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum in the summer. The Reds line up behind other clubs interested in Franck Kessie.
The Red Devils remain on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Nemanja Matic. Bellingham is not a number six, though his box to box qualities and attacking prowess make him an ideal upgrade.
Meanwhile, interest from Chelsea is expected as Tuchel looks ahead to the future. N’Golo Kante is entering the final phase of his career. Simultaneously, Jorginho’s agent has recently fueled rumours of a potential return to Italy.
The teenager doubled his wages to £100,000 a week when he signed a new contract at the end of June. The terms on the deal are due to run till June 2025.
