Julian Nagelsmann advised waiting for a potential Chelsea job

According to journalist Mark Ogden, Julian Nagelsmann should wait for a potential Chelsea job.

Bayern Munich sacked Nagelsmann and replaced him with former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.

Besides, Chelsea are heavily involved in the transfer market recently and rumors suggested that the Blues are not happy with their current manager. There are dark clouds over Graham Potter’s future at Stanford Bridge.

Nagelsmann can be a suitable replacement for the London club and supporters will be delighted with his appointment.

However, ESPN Journalist Mark Ogden has his say on the matter and thinks that it cannot be ruled out. Ogden also thinks that Potter is currently sitting in the hot seat. He told ESPN:-

“Let’s us see where they (Chelsea) finish,” said Ogden. “Seventh, eight or tenth. And if they are out of the Champions League.

“They are saying all the right things that Potter is safe, but from Nagelsmann’s perspective, Chelsea would be a better bet than Tottenham because they have invested in the squad.

“It’s just a case of having a coach who can knit it all together and get some very good players playing together. I am not sure Potter has that ability.

“It’s like Bayern saying Nagelsmann is their guy until 11 pm and Chelsea saying the same with Potter. Clubs always back their manager until they don’t. When they don’t, then they are gone – that’s what Potter has to be aware of, if Chelsea don’t finish in the Champions League places, then he has to be careful.”
