Julian Nagelsmann could become the manager of Chelsea in the Summer

Chelsea have been a hot topic of late due to the events that have taken place within the club. Since the sacking of Graham Potter on Monday, there have been a lot of rumours related to the managerial position. Many star names like Luis Enrique & Julian Nagelsmann were in contacts with the club to become their next manager.

But, the Blues made a sudden decision to appoint Frank Lampard, ex-Chelsea legend, as their caretaker manager for the rest of the season. As, it can be clearly evaluated that this decision has been made to just see the rest of the season out for the club. In the summer, the club will again evaluate their options and appoint the most suitable candidate who will lead Chelsea to glory in the future.

Is Nagelsmann still the candidate for Chelsea?

According to Sky Germany, Nagelsmann’s first contacts with Chelsea were positive and the German could still be the candidate for the manager position in the summer. Even though Lampard has been given the throne of Chelsea, Nagelsmann is not out of their list of managers who they would want to lead the club in the future.

It wil be interesting to see how the rest of the season unfolds for the Blues under Frank Lampard. Chelsea, who currently sit at 11th position in the premier league have a game against Wolves on Saturday. Following this, they face their biggest task of the whole season when they face Real Madrid in the quaterfinals of the Champions league on Wednesday. It is not going to be an easy battle and Chelsea players will definitely be under pressure against the “Kings of Europe”.

In conclusion, the only chance of silverware for the Blues this season is in the Champions League. And it is going to be very thrilling to watch the two-legged tie between two of the best teams in Europe, i.e, Chelsea and Real Madrid.
