Senegalese defender praised Chelsea’s new signing and his teammate Mykhailo Mudryk.

Mudryk who is still adjusting to Premier League after he joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk for £89m. The Ukrainian forward is yet score or assist in his six first team appearances for Chelsea.

His teammate, Kalidou Koulibaly believes in his talent and told The Sun :

“As for Mudryk he’s very quick, technically on a one v one he’s outstanding and can be a big help for us. But he is a player who needs the ball to make the difference and our job is to get it to him.

“Every player joining Chelsea needs time to adapt and Mudryk is no different.”

However, the opportunity is there for any any Chelsea attacker who can chip in with goals or two. Chelsea are currently struggling to score goals and just won two games in 15 matches across all competitions.

So far, Mudryk has shown good signs of form at Stanford Bridge. He’s a brilliant winger with rapid speed and superb dribbling, something which can be nightmare for defenders. The 22-year-old has already scored 10 goals in 18 apperances for Shakhtar Donetsk in first-half of the season, so it’s a matter of time before he finds his feet at Chelsea. His debut against Liverpool in January was praised by Graham Potter.

But Potter hasn’t found regular starter in his forward line following his struggle with the Blues. Mudryk has started only 2 matches and facing competition from Raheem Sterling, Hakim Ziyech and Noni Madueke.

Mudryk can start against Leeds United on Saturday, as he his speed can be a game changing factor.
