Klopp believes Liverpool can beat League Leaders Arsenal

Liverpool

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes that Reds can beat Premier League leaders Arsenal this weekend for a very good reason.

But Arsenal have looked fearless this season and Klopp comment may haunt him back in future. On the contrary, Liverpool are going through worst season in last 5 years.

Klopp spoke after Tuesday’s goalless draw against Chelsea, the Reds boss looks confident by the eminent visit of Arsenal on Sunday. He said :-

“I’m really looking forward to this game now.

Klopp further added :-

“Arsenal are flying and in incredible shape and playing super football, it’s really good to watch as well. But we are there, it’s a home game, and our home record is not as bad as our away record. If we are difficult to beat against Arsenal, we can win this game.”

Liverpool’s home record is quite opposite to their away record, as they taken 12 points in last 15 away games. It explains why they stand astonishing 29 points behind the Gunners in the points table this term.

However, Anfield has been a winning fortress for Klopp’s side, even in this shambolic season. Liverpool defeat against Leeds United in October was their only defeat at home in almost six years.

Bournemouth were thrashed 9:0 in August, which biggest-ever win in Premier League history. Klopp’s side also defeated Manchester United in a record breaking 7:0 victory, last month. However, Arsenal’s recent record at Anfield looks disastrous, having not won their in the Premier League since September, 2012.

Klopp will look to keep his words and continue their winning form against Arsenal at Anfield.
