LAZIO AND AHMED SANOGO TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY

According to reports, Lazio are reportedly working hard on a deal to sign Vis Pesaro talent Ahmed Sanogo this summer. The player has impressed in the lower divisions. He joined the Serie C outfit in January of this year from Serie D. His returns on paper are not that impressive. However, his overall performances have impressed the Serie A giants.

The report also states his performances have caught the eye of scouts of the Italian giants. They are now very keen to sign the 17-year-old. In the amateur league, the forward scored 1 goal and 1 assist last season in 23 appearances. However, the returns were low due to his continuous change in position. The 17-year-old played in positions such as forward, right-wing, or even sometimes right-back.

WHAT DOES THE YOUNGSTER ADD TO THE YOUTH TEAM

The player has versatility. He can play in different positions. He also does not make much fuss about the work he does. The forward just gets on with the game. Another reason is the youth system of Lazio underwent a shakeup earlier this year. Hence, now work is being carried out to try and improve the quality of player development. Improvements are also done to recruitment for players in the academy.

There are also reports suggesting that many of the important first-team players are reportedly getting offers from big clubs. Hence, it is very important that you have a replacement ready if the player leaves on short notice just before the window ends. This is where the investment in the academy thrives and players are made ready for the big league.

It looks like Ahmed Sanogo is going to be one such talent. Sanogo is 175cm tall. He is also a right-footed striker. The forward seems to be comfortable playing in a second striker position. The report also states that Lazio are in a pole position to sign the striker.
