Leandro Trossard was named the worst player in the Belgian squad

Arsenal signed Leandro Trossard from Brighton in the January transfer window. The player have been fabulous for the Gunners team so far. Leandro Trossard is expected to continue to do well for his new club. The player have proved to be a significant player in the Gunners squad since his arrival. Furthermore he has 7 goal contribution in his 12 appearances for the Gunners. The Belgian international have been offering competition to Arsenal attack line. The player has been starting alongside the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. Therefore his performance since the last three months was enough for him to make a place in the Belgian squad. He was one of the favorites to replace Eden Hazard in the natonal team. However Leandro Trossard failed to impress much in the Belgian national team.

Belgium have a new manager now after the World Cup. Leandro Trossard started for Belgium national team in their match against Sweden. Belgium won 3-0 against Sweden. However the player was not really in a good form. Reports claims that the Belgium media have branded Leandro Trossard as the worst player in the squad. The Arsenal player failed to make an impact in the match as long as he was on the pitch. The player hardly managed to inspire confidence in the team for 61 minutes that he was on the pitch. It was indeed surprising for the Arsenal fans to see the player struggling. He have been superb for the Gunners since joining them. Therefore it was a surprise to see him struggle at the national team. But it could very much be an one- off game for the player.

The fans expect him to learn from this game and do well next time. Leandro Trossard is still young and therefore is expected to get better with time. Usually everything is a bit different in the club level. Therefore he might just have a bad international window. He could still do well on his return to domestic football.
