Premier League is back after the international break with game week 12 and we have a big fixture as Liverpool will host Arsenal at Anfield on Saturday.

Liverpool have had a good start to the Premier League season. The Reds sit fourth in the Premier League table with 22 points from 11 games. While Arsenal have done a complete turnaround as they have risen from the bottom of the league table to fifth in the league table, just below Liverpool.

Arsenal were victorious against Watford in the last game week as they defeated the Hornets 1-0 at home. While Liverpool suffered a 3-2 defeat away at the London Stadium by the hands of West Ham United. The Reds will be hoping to turn their fortunes around in the clash against Arsenal as they have been handed a major injury boost.

Three Liverpool stars could return back for the Arsenal clash

The Mirror have reported that Liverpool have welcomed back Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane, and James Milner to training.

Jordan Henderson did feature in England’s 5-0 World Cup qualifying win over Albania on Friday at Wembley. Henderson also scored one goal and set up an assist for his teammates in the 5-0 triumph. But he picked up a minor issue after the game and was training separate from the England squad. He also missed the England 10-0 win over San Marino.

James Milner has missed the last four Liverpool matches because of a hamstring injury. But he has stepped up his recovery and is likely to feature in the Arsenal clash.

Sadio Mane was taken off in the 28th minute during international duty as Senegal played against Togo. He was taken off with a suspicion of a rib injury. Senegal boss Aliou Cisse later in his aftermatch interview said that the substation was just a “precaution” and Mane is likely to feature in the Premier League clash.

Liverpool injury list

Liverpool have added Andrew Robertson to their injury list after the Scotland captain was taken off near the final whistle in Scotland’s 2-0 victory over Denmark.

Andrew Robertson joins a long list of injury absentees in the Liverpool squad and will be a minor doubt for the Arsenal clash. Naby Keita is still out with a hamstring injury. Joe Gomez is also ruled out with a calf injury. Curtis Jones will also miss out on the clash, Harvey Elliott is also ruled out. While Bobby Firmino is also ruled out until mid-December.
